Sarah Parkinson – Probate

Sarah joined Hodge Halsall in 2002 and completed her law degree, whilst also working full time, at the University of Central Lancashire in 2008. She qualified as a solicitor in 2009.

Sarah works in the private client department and her work includes-:

  • drafting of Wills & Lifetime Planning – ensuring the most appropriate and tax efficient provision for family and dependants
  • administration of estates – applying for grants of probate and ensuring that the instructions in the Will are carried out in a prompt and sensitive manner
  • preparation of Lasting Powers of Attorney, both property & financial and health & welfare. Also dealing with all matters involving the Court of Protection
  • receiverships and other public guardianship matters
  • Deeds of Variation
  • managing financial affairs
  • preparing Trusts and advising on their operation and tax implications
